Dr. Kenneth R. Board is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana. He and is
wife Marilyn have five children: Kenneth Jeremy, Kevin, Kimberly,
Weldon, and Keysha.
Dr. Board is currently serving as Assistant Pastor at the historic
Ebenezer Baptist Church of Atlanta, Georgia. He is President of KenMar
Global Consulting, a management consultant firm specializing in
leadership development, multicultural training, team building, personal
excellence, and Christian Education training. He is a gifted preacher,
lecturer, facilitator, and Biblical scholar. He is in the process of
writing a book on the subject of black pastoral leadership which will be
marketed in 2005 by a national publishing house. He is a motivational
speaker and mentor for public school students.
He is a former adjunct professor of leadership development and
foundations for ministry at the Interdenominational Theological Center.
Dr. Board previously served in various sales, marketing and management
positions at BellSouth and AT&T for over 20 years.
He received his formal training from the University of Louisiana at
Monroe (BBA in Business Management in May, 1975). He received a Master
of Divinity (May, 1995) and a Doctorate of Ministry (May, 2000) from the
Morehouse School of Religion at the Interdenominational Theological
Center in Atlanta, Georgia.
He enjoys debating, reading, traveling, playing tennis, attending
sporting and cultural events. He has traveled extensively during his
ministry to China, Germany, the Hawaiian Islands, the Holy Land, and
several Caribbean islands.
Dr. Board has received numerous awards for outstanding business advisor
of the year for the INROADS mentoring program, preaching excellence and
sales results.
